	In the side channel blower or exhauster one (or more) impeller(s) increases the pressure of the aspirated gas by the creation of a series of vortexes in the peripheral toroidal (side) channel.  These blowers are used when the required pressure (up to +1000 mbar) or vacuum (down to -700 mbar) is considerably bigger than what can be achieved by a fan.  Characteristics:  impeller assemlbed directly on the motor shaft;  no metal-to-metal contact, thus no internal lubrication;  totally uncontaminated, oil-free and pulsation free gas transport;  dynamecally balanced rotor to ensure absolute absence of vibration;  low noise;  virtually maintenance free;  full die-cast aluminium construction for maximum sturdiness and light weight; very competitive price.
